Rulings - Investigation into the Death of Ahmad Numan Haider

On 10 October 2014, Coroner John Olle made two proceeding suppression orders in relation to the investigation into the death of Ahmad Numan Haider.

The first order prohibits the publication or broadcast of any information which may identify the Victorian Police member and the Australian Federal Police member involved in the incident.

The second order prohibits the publication or broadcast of any material which may identify or tend to identify the deceased's family members in the proceeding.

On 19 February 2016, Coroner John Olle made a proceeding suppression order in relation to the investigation into the death of Ahmad Numan Haider.

The order prohibits the publication or broadcast of any material of the Joint Counter Terrorism Team and Victoria Police which may contrary to the public interest.

On 8 March 2016, Coroner John Olle made three proceeding suppression orders in relation to the investigation into the death of Ahmad Numan Haider.

The orders prohibit the publication or broadcast of any material which may identify certain witnesses in the proceeding.

On 10 March 2016, Coroner John Olle made a proceeding suppression orders in relation to the investigation into the death of Ahmad Numan Haider.

The order is in relation to witness Habib Paygham.

On 21 March 2016, Coroner John Olle made a proceeding suppression order in relation to the investigation into the death of Ahmad Numan Haider.

The order is in relation to witness Ali Torkamanyer.
