Assistance during a difficult time
The death of a partner, child, other family member, friend or workmate may be the most difficult and painful experience you can go through.
When a death occurs suddenly, unexpectedly or in traumatic circumstances, it may feel overwhelming.
A range of common reactions following such an event may affect your behaviour, thinking and feelings.
These responses are unique and personal. It is reassuring to know even though these reactions may be unpleasant, they are probably normal reactions to an abnormal event.
They are part of the normal process of grief and help you come to terms with your experience.
The Coroners Court of Victoria Family and Community Support Service offers experienced staff who can provide assistance during this difficult time.
